On 8th June 2010, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and Handico Finance Joint Stock Company (HAFIC) signed a service agreement for eMB – Link , an electronic payment service.
Based on the signed agreement, through eMB – Link electronic payment system of MB, HAFIC can, on an online basis, make fund transfer from accounts with MB to customers’ accounts maintained with MB or other credit institutions, request account inquiry or account statements, make simultaneous payments for various transactions with unlimited lines of fund transfer. Besides, HAFIC can save a lot of cost and time spent on documentation-related procedures thanks to the convenience and speed of the provided service system.
Being developed from the so called eMB product, eMB-Link has become a progressive step in new financial solutions of MB for corporate and FI customers. Thanks to a user-friendly interface and dual confidentiality system using electronic signatures and documents, transactions are always safely processed, whereas the document-checking and approving process is strictly and efficiently controlled. MB plans to offer this kind of service to other corporate and FI customers in the coming time. .
eMB is an electronic banking service offered to MB’s individual customers from October 2009. Its outstanding utility can be proven with the increase in the volume of processed transactions for individual customers to VND500 million per day with two main products namely eMB Basic and eMB Plus. Moreover, since May 2010, MB has offered electronic accounts based on the platform of eMB, which has contributed to increasing the interest from ATM’s savings to 6% per annum. MB will continue developing new applications for its electronic banking products with an aim to diversify and maximize the profits of the bank’s customers in the coming time.
